This position is a commission based role with uncapped earning potential. What you earn is dependent on many things, but mainly your salesmanship, drive, ability to maintain customer relations, and motivation will be key factors in your own success. The job allows a flexible schedule, with the expectation of reaching set KPIs. Roofing Consultants interact with the homeowner and provide the initial inspection. You set expectations for the repair and replacement process, making sure the customer is updated on all scheduling and all steps are being properly carried out. It is commission based, with commission percentage increasing as benchmarks are met.
Previous experience with sales or in the home contractor/roofing world are preferable, but not necessary as job training will be provided. Soft skills such as self-motivation are more important for this role.
Role and Duties:
-Promote Olympus Home through local canvassing, spreading information about our products, services, and looking to capture future customers.
-Build a network of customer referrals and follow up with each lead.
-Retain a solid knowledge of the home + roofing repair and replacement process. Be able to explain this step by step with customers, providing accurate expectations and making the journey easy for the business and homeowner.
-Conduct residential and commercial building exterior inspections and be able to identify any damage, weathering, or problems that exist.
-Consult customers on products and materials we offer and help them in determining the best way to move forward to complete their projects/repairs.
-Understand the insurance claims process in respect to weather damage claims. Be able to explain that process to the homeowner or business owner and prepare them for all subsequent steps.
-Value customer relationships and customer satisfaction as a top priority.
-experience in roofing inspections, home inspections, or sales are preferred, but not required.
-energetic, ambitious, self-starter, strong work-ethic, self-driven, goal-oriented.
-willingness to learn and be trained in all standard operating procedures.
-comfortable dealing with new people and setting your own flexible schedule.
